Pre hearing information
- Allegation
The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, during consultations with Patient A, Dr Abou Farha sought to undermine her clinical and therapeutic relationships with other medical practitioners by telling her that she should stop seeing them and that he could help her more than anyone else. It is also alleged that Dr Abou Farha made inappropriate comments to Patient A and used offensive, sexualised and/or homophobic language which constituted harassment.
It is further alleged that on one occasion Dr Abou Farha used threatening language towards Patient A and subsequently tried to discredit her when she made a complaint about him.
Bydd y tribiwnlys yn ymchwilio i’r honiad bod Dr Abou Farha, yn ystod ymgynghoriadau â Chlaf A, wedi ceisio tanseilio ei pherthynas glinigol a therapiwtig ag ymarferwyr meddygol eraill drwy ddweud wrthi y dylai roi’r gorau i’w gweld nhw ac y gallai ef ei helpu hi’n fwy nag unrhyw un arall. Honnir hefyd bod Dr Abou Farha wedi gwneud sylwadau amhriodol i Glaf A ac wedi defnyddio iaith sarhaus, rywioledig a/neu homoffobig a oedd yn gyfystyr ag aflonyddu.
Honnir ymhellach bod Dr Abou Farha, ar un achlysur, wedi defnyddio iaith fygythiol tuag at Glaf A ac wedyn wedi ceisio dwyn anfri arni pan wnaeth hi gŵyn amdano.
