The tribunal found that in 2020 Dr Giannopoulos assaulted Mr A by pushing him up against a wall on one occasion and kicking him and putting him in a headlock on another occasion.
The tribunal also found that, in November 2021, Dr Giannopoulos behaved in an aggressive and/or threatening manner and engaged in a physical altercation with Mr C and between September and December 2021, referred to Mr C in a way that was motivated by racial hostility and was racist.
The tribunal will reconvene to determine whether Dr Giannopoulos’ fitness to practise is currently impaired by reason of misconduct.
