- Allegation
The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, in September 2022, Dr Latoo failed to conduct an adequate pre-operative assessment of Patient A and failed to identify and prepare for an abnormal airway prior to intubation.
It is further alleged that Dr Latoo retrospectively amended the medical record of his pre-operative assessment and in a subsequent email to Anaesthetic colleagues misrepresented his knowledge of what had happened during the operation and/or the clinical evidence. It is alleged that Dr Latoo’s actions were dishonest.
