Pre hearing information

Allegation

The tribunal found that, at a Scottish Society of Gastroenterology event in November 2023, Dr Brennan inappropriately touched Dr B and that his actions constituted sexual harassment. The tribunal also found that at the same event Dr Brennan made a racist comment during a conversation about trainees.

The tribunal will reconvene to determine whether Dr Brennan’s fitness to practise is currently impaired by reason of misconduct.
