- Allegation
The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, on 7 August 2024, while undertaking minor operations at Community Health and Eyecare Ltd Clinic (CHEC), Warrington, Dr Siddiqui wore non-sterile gloves which were contaminated with blood from a different patient when examining Patients A and B. It is also alleged that Dr Siddiqui collected used non-sterile medical equipment to take home and stated that it was normal practice at another branch of CHEC when this was untrue.
It is further alleged that, on 10 December 2024, at CHEC, Stockport, Dr Siddiqui wore non-sterile, contaminated gloves when examining Patient D and claimed it was an isolated incident when challenged. It is alleged that Dr Siddiqui’s conduct was dishonest.
