The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, on 20 February 2024, at the Court of Udine, Italy, Dr Clignon was convicted of negligent liability for death or personal injury in a healthcare setting and sentenced to one year’s imprisonment, suspended.
It is further alleged that Dr Clignon failed to notify the GMC without delay that he had been charged and convicted of a criminal offence.
