The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that on 9 October 2025, at Bournemouth Crown Court, Dr Ahmed was convicted of engaging in controlling coercive behaviour. It is alleged that Dr Ahmed was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison and made subject to a restraining order for ten years.
