Legal assessors sometimes sit with our tribunals and advise them on points of law. In most hearings a legally qualified chair will advise the tribunal. View the General Medical Council (Legal Assessors and Legally Qualified Persons) Rules Order of Council 2015.
The Anaesthesia Associates and Physician Associates Order 2024 sets out the powers and responsibilities of our tribunals in relation to physician associates (PA) and anaesthesia associates (AA).
