Procedural matters relating to tribunal hearings

Voting

  1. All decisions, including procedural decisions, must be made by the tribunal.

  2. Tribunals make all their decisions with a simple majority and all tribunal members must vote. There is no casting vote by the Chair.

  3. Where a decision is made by majority, as opposed to being a unanimous decision, any minority view will not form part of the decision or written determination.
